FAQs
-
Recovery varies from person to person, but most patients can return to light daily activities within about 1–2 weeks. Dr. Chávez will give you specific instructions based on your procedure and individual recovery.
-
Most patients describe discomfort rather than severe pain. Swelling, bruising, and nasal congestion are common during the first several days and gradually improve as you heal.
-
You'll notice changes right away, but your body needs time to heal. Depending on the procedure, swelling can continue to improve for several months before you see your final result.
-
Reconstructive microsurgery uses specialized techniques to reconnect very small blood vessels and nerves. It can be used to reconstruct tissue after cancer treatment, trauma, or other complex surgeries.
-
The best way to find out is through a consultation. Dr. Chávez will evaluate your health, anatomy, goals, and expectations and help you understand whether surgery is an appropriate option for you.
